You are doing major soul work, my friend! Thank you!
We ought to admire the world. I do daily when I go out at the break of dawn, or even slightly before, to feed the animals in front of my Toronto residence. A small patch of earth, a row of bushes and a tree, both still devoid of leaves and greenery.
I hear the birds singing and chirping and communicating in all manners of speech. Yes, it brings joy to my heart. An abundance of joy.
I do hope that your last line comes true, sooner than later. I also relate to your trumpet story, a beautiful brass instrument. For four years (1971-75), I was in the high school band. I played trombone, a large brass instrument that I had to lug to and from school every day.. The trombone was a loan. I returned it at the completion of high school.

And thereby ownable.... Remembering could be a remedy for dismembering. We might still write ourselves back into the world." For these sentences and more, I thank you, Adam!!!
Where I live in Ontario, we are now in Eastern Daylight Saving Time EDT. So would that be 4pm EDT? Also, I am not sure when the UK switch to BST happens.
There is always an awkward period when the gulfs between us vary. The UK had the brains to align the time-shifting with the EU, but not yet with you guys.
Over here our Daylight Saving doesn’t begin till Sunday 31st March. And this year that’s both Easter and my birthday! Spring indeed 😁

Thank you, Lisa. It means a lot.
I am making a long sound by breath whistling through my teeth: yessssssssss!
I can hear you from here! I'm glad Dougald posted the tape of your conversation so I can have a listen.

You are correct, it will be EDT not EST.
